Meet Dr. Setareh Enghiad
As a dual-board certified periodontist in the US and Canada, Dr. Setareh Enghiad is passionate about providing the highest quality dental care to her patients. She is always committed to improving her patients’ quality of life by enhancing their oral health. She offers a wide range of periodontal procedures such as soft tissue and perio-plastic surgeries, tooth extractions with immediate implant placements, bone and sinus augmentations, and periodontitis laser treatments (LANAP® and LAPIP® certified). She strongly believes that every person is unique, and the treatment offered to them should be tailored to their specific needs, desires, and expectations.
Education
Dr. Enghiad has a D.D.S and a Master of Dentistry in Periodontics from University of Manitoba. She developed a special interest in surgical procedures after working at a trauma hospital for two years. After working as a general practitioner for 5 years, she followed her passion and excelled through a 3-year training program in Periodontology. During her specialty training, she received the prestigious Dr. John Neilson Research Award in Oral Systemic Health for two consecutive years. She is also a recipient of AAP Straumann Scholarship and MDAAC Oral Presentation award.
